She earned a B.A. in English and an honorary doctorate in literature from Elizabethtown College. Marcos Evangelista de Morais, known as Cafu (born 7 June 1970), is a Brazilian former professional footballer regarded as one of the greatest right backs of all time. Famous for his pace and attacking runs, he holds the record for the most appearances with the Brazil national team (142 caps).
At club level, Cafu won major domestic and international titles in Brazil, Spain, and Italy — most notably with São Paulo (1989–1995), Roma (1997–2003), and AC Milan (2003–2008). He also played briefly for Zaragoza, Palmeiras, and Juventude. He was named South American Footballer of the Year in 1994 and included in Pelé’s FIFA 100 in 2004. Other honors include the FIFPro World XI (2005) and the Ballon d’Or Dream Team (2020).
Internationally, Cafu played in four World Cups (1994–2006) and is the only player to appear in three finals, winning in 1994 and 2002 (the latter as captain). He also won the Copa América in 1997 and 1999, and the FIFA Confederations Cup in 1997.
