The Community Behind the Summit

The EO Women Summit is a vibrant creation of our EO Women community: members and staff working together to craft meaningful spaces for connection, learning, and growth. What started as a grassroots effort has blossomed into one of EO’s most unique global experiences. It is built from the ground up, shaped by shared conversations and a commitment to supporting one another.

Every year, members from different chapters unite to curate voices, design experiences, and foster connections. This evolving Summit remains true to what defines EO Women: trust, honesty, and relationships that go beyond the surface

How It Started

Before the Summit, a simple shift occurred. It emerged from the need for a supportive space where women could tackle the unique challenges of balancing family and business, challenges often very different from those faced by men.

EO Women was created for you, breaking down barriers and eliminating judgment. It is a safe, empowering environment where women uplift and inspire each other.

From Vision to Impact

From early conversations in 2014 to a global Summit, the EO Women community has grown through consistent leadership, shared effort, and a clear belief: that connection among women leaders creates stronger businesses and better decisions.

From Community to Global Experience

The first Women of EO Leadership Summit in Aspen brought the community into a shared physical space; and demand exceeded expectations. Each year since has expanded the experience: new regions, new perspectives, broader participation.

What began as a small gathering has become a global experience, shaped by the women in the room.

Carrying It Forward

Every Summit is influenced by the women who lead it. For the 2025 Summit in Montreal, we asked, “What if we curate the most unique EO global learning event of the year?” This vision guided our programming and environment, setting a new standard for future Summits.
